Reasonably Priced But...Jul 08, 2011

I thought this was going to hold up, but it didn't. Although if seems to be heavy duty, a little extra torque broken the head in half. To be fair, I was trying to remove a crankshaft bolt with 248lbs torque. It just didn't hold up. Had to use my 1/2" craftsman socket wrench and a steel pipe to break it loose. Will not hold up under heavy load. Of course, no sears unconditional guarantee.

Great for breaking diff. boltsJan 14, 2010

I've needed to change my diff fluid in my FJ, but was unable due to bolts being seized. I tried spraying them and finally bought this breaker bar. At first I did not think it was long enough to provide enough leverage, however I was wrong. The bar did the job with ease. I would recommend you buy if you are looking for a breaker bar that is not super long andfor jobs that require a swivel head.

price is rightAug 08, 2007
By D. Schroeder Great product that was cheaper for me than one from Sears after factoring in shipping. But it was close. No complaints, good product.
Held UpMar 13, 2012
By Toby 33 I used this along with 10 feet of pipe to change a timing belt. Not the best or safest use but the bolt broke free and the breaker bar is still together without and visible cracks.
Works wellJan 03, 2012
By RW Seems like a good quality tool. I've only used it for my lug nuts so far so haven't had to really crank on it, but it seems like it's pretty decent quality and it will hold up well.
The rubber grip doesn't fit tightly, so if you try to straighten out the tool and use it "screwdriver fashion" to unscrew a bolt, the grip will just spin around.
