Recently ordered this set of sockets. I have only had a chance to use them on a couple of repair jobs. Fit and finish is good. Looks like a good dollar value. I recommend it.

I purchased both the Tekton SAE 1225 and Metric 1230 9-piece sets and I'd say they're what I would expect for the price which is solid but not as good as a Craftsman set. They'll just go into a set that I swap between the vehicles and the good sets will stay in the garage because they're too heavy to move and too costly to replace if stolen. I believe 3/8" is the best size to carry in a vehicle because they're stronger then the ¼" and the ½" is really too large for some tight spaces. It seems that without both sizes and a deep set you're lost if you need to do some repairs on the road since one pair of Vice Grips, a hammer and a screwdriver no longer constitutes a complete tool set. Additionally, living out here in a rural, and vast mountainous, area means you need to be a little more prepared since a cell phone signal can often be hard to find.
I would note that Amazon shows both sets on a hanging rack but states they come in a "Molded Plastic Case" in the Product Description. The 1225 came on a hanger but the 1230 came in a molded case with a lid and was not marked Tekton but rather Michigan Industrial Tools (MIT) but they are also the manufacturer of the 1225 set. Since I'm dropping them loose in an under-the-seat truck tool box to save space it doesn't matter. All those blow mold cases just take up too much room. If you especially want the hanger and/or the molded case then you may be disappointed. They are called 9-piece sets but as you can see only 8 of those pieces are sockets. At about a buck per socket I'm not concerned about any Lifetime Warranty and I would not purchase them based on that alone because, for the warranty, you need to keep a copy of the receipt and pay to return a damaged socket so if you have 2 that fail it's less expensive to just buy a new set. These are good enough but not what I would want to depend on for regular use but since that's not what I expect I give them 5 stars.

I was happy that they came with a case (I don't like racks), and they have worked well for the projects I have needed them for. Happy with the purchase overall.
