Nice little breaker barApr 17, 2010
By Robert C Blanchard This little 12" breaker bar is about perfect for loosening spark plugs and other hard-to-reach parts. Put a couple extensions, a waggle joint, and a spark plug socket on and you're good to go. I also have the 24", which is 1/2" drive and good for lug nuts. This 12" is 3/8" drive and it's pretty handy.

Quite helpfulApr 23, 2011
By Matthew Dyer Why in the world didn't I buy this thing years ago? Makes getting the nut off the bottom of the lawnmower blade 1,000 times easier. In fact, makes taking off about any nut much easier. It's in nice shape, holds the socket well, wipes off easily with a rag, everything you could want. One of those products that once you start using you can't figure out how you got along without it.

Nice, but not a precision toolAug 02, 2011
By E. Woo TEKTON 1695 3/8-Inch Drive by 12-Inch Mechanic's Flex Breaker Bar; This is a nice finished, useful size tool. I only have two negative comments about it, when comparing to my old one: Husky 22232 USA, a 3/8" x 9" breaker bar.
(1) The square head is loose. The head base measured 9.5mm (3/8" = 9.53mm), while the fork that holds the head measured 9.9mm. When I fix the head on a table vise, the handle has more than 1" of free-play. My USA-made breaker bar has measurements of 9.5mm and 9.7mm, respectively. The free-play is about 0.25". If you use it to loose a wheel nut, or anything that you have ample space to work around, the 1" free-play will not be a problem. Otherwise when use it to loose the Oxygen sensor in your car, the 1" free-play could be nasty.
(2) My old Husky breaker bar measured solid 9" from the rivet to the end of handle. The Tekton one measured only 11" under the same guideline.
Other than these two, it is a great tool.
good quality, perfect size to do my car oil changesMay 04, 2012
By a2q2 This breaker bar is so much handy and helpful to loose the oil drain bolt beneath the car when I do my car oil changes at home (I'm a DIY type guy). It provides me the leverage to loose the bolt quite easily without applying much force. Before, I used a short wrench and had to use a hammer to slightly hit on the wrench to get the bolt loose. With this practice, it even happened once that I stripped the bolt and had to end up driving the car to the shop to have the mechanic removed and replaced the drain bolt. Since I got the breaker bar, it's so much easier, just wonder why I didn't think about it years ago...
GREAT QUALITY AND VERY DURABLE.Mar 28, 2012
By T. Nguyen This breaker bar is really good for breaking loose transmission drain bolts. I'm sure it can do other jobs but that's just the reason i bought this and it worked just like i thought it would. Not much to say about it because its just a breaker bar but it's very durable and the quality seems really good.
