This was supposed to extend to 5 inches. I tried to use it on a 4 inch nut and the nut on the tool would come off when extended. I called the company that makes
this and explained what happened, they said they would check this out. It says this would extend to 5 inches! They called me back and said that they would change
the information on the tool. So I had to return it and go elsewhere to purchase one that was correct.
