This is a nice set of punchesMay 26, 2012
By Wayne This is a nice set of punches to own. Smooth and finished with a nice grip. I'm using for my hobby. The only other punches one would need would be brass punches, I use both. I like tekton products, they're reasonably priced and I find they are well made.

TEKTON 6739 Pin Punch Set, 6-Piece
You should have no qualms about buying this punch set. The heat treated steel is strong, they work as intended, quality is good, and it's a heck of a value. As of this writing, Sears sells this very set for four times as much, when you add tax and shipping.

these suckDec 08, 2011
By E. Higdon bought this with a matching hammer. Tried to push out a pin in a rifle. I put 80lbs of pressure on it and the darn thing bent. The pin stayed put. How does hardened steel bend at 80lbs?
Disappointed with product and Tekton customer serviceMay 10, 2012
By robrpb I received this product and when I opened the package I noticed that the punch sizes were not marked on them. I called Tekton customer service to inquire about this. I told the person who answered the phone of my problem and she was unable to help me so she tried to page someone who could help me, but nobody was available. She then transferred me to their voice mail where I left a message. No one has returned my call which is disappointing. I am also disappointed that these punches were made in China. For some reason I thought I read they were made in the USA, but that was my mistake.
Stay away from theseMay 07, 2012
By Marcus Trise Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R17XCT3HCXQ645 OK, I rarely give bad reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. If I could return them I would, I missed the return window by 2 days, that sucks. I bought these punches to work on an AR-15, that was my first mistake. When the arrived I did not look closely at them until I started to work on my AR 4 days ago. Two of the punches had a slight bend to them, the smaller ones. I thought well they are hardened steel so how bad could it be for them. Second mistake, the two that I needed the most were the bend ones and you can guess what happened to them; bent... The icing on the cake was the ends started to flare like a ballerina's dress. So needless to say soft and cheap. So If you are in the need for a pin punch set for gunsmithing get the rolled pin punch set from Midway or Brownell's. Sorry Amazon, I will still buy from you.... I may post a video showing the bends.
