The pads are a foam pads unsure what the use is but for nose pads, although that is what i searched for in Amazon. The screw driver and other parts are pretty useful so decided to keep it.

The rubber bands seemed to be dried out and broke while I was trying to slip them over the temples and then over the hinges to make the temples tighter to my head. I bought several and all were bad.
