The C-Clamps seem to be of sufficient strength to meet the basic need. However, they are a bit smaller than I thought they would be. The depth of the clamps are 1.5 inches for the 3 inch wide clamp and the 2 inch wide clamp has a depth of 1 inch. I think that will lmit the usefulness of these. The picture of the womans hands make the clamps appear larger than they are. I later found the exact same item at an outlet store for $4.00 in the local area as well.

I completely agree with the other reviewer's statement that the items are smaller than they look in the pictures (especially the smaller of the two). They are simple enough though and I think they'll still work out. For the price I can't complain about them too much.

I occasionally need some small c-clamps for projects around the house. Quality seemed quite good. Tightened smoothly and easily. Nice because much cheaper than available in local stores. Fully satisfied.
