It worksApr 27, 2010
By G. C. WONG I just used it for the first time and it worked. I used it for my project of converting a single sink vanity to a double. I don't know why people need to buy more expensive ones.

Worked find for me...May 22, 2012
By Honest Ed This DOES have a spring tension on it contrary to what other reviews had stated. Worked fine for me and was much cheaper than I was able to find in any of the "Big Box" stores. I was able to get into a really tight spot with it as well which someone else also noted as a negative?

Served its PurposeMay 19, 2012
By Green Iguana I purchased this basin wrench because I needed to use it while changing a bathroom faucet.
No complaints here. It did its duty and performed well. Old bolts were loosened and new bolts were tightened.
For me, this tool was perfect for home use. I was pleased with the price and construction of this product.
If you're looking to change a faucet in your bathroom, kitchen or anywhere else, odds are that you will need to use a tool like this to help you get the job done.

Great tool that you wish you had when you need it!Jun 25, 2011
By Allen This tool gets the job done well. Although you won't use it very often, you will wish you had a basin wrench when the time comes that you really need one. Good quality construction and chrome finish.
Nice chrome finish, only for light duty use.Jan 03, 2012
By A-Rod I needed a simple basin wrench to change a bathroom faucet, nothing fancy. The item looks like and you really can't beat it for the price. One con, I bent the skinney cross-bar trying to remove the first nut. No big deal, as I eventually got it off, but just a note, don't try and use this for big jobs. Works just fine for simple home job. Spring action on the head works well and locks nicely.
