It Works In Tight Places!Mar 10, 2012

The chain link wrench is exactly as described. Imagine my joy when I unboxed a product that exceeded my expectations for quality and ease of use. This product is fantastic.
Make sure you have room to use itMar 30, 2013
By Amy Gehrke It probably works fine if you have enough room to use it, but it was very difficult to get the chain around the filter and once in place, I didn't have enough room to move the handle. Useless for my purposes.

Really Hard to UseJun 17, 2012
By organicrust I've never used a chain wrench before I bought this item. Before then, I'd used other types of oil filter wrenches.
I have to say that this wrench is much more difficult to get around the filter than any other wrench that I've used before. The chain kept falling off the filter because it was difficult to cinch the chain tight enough. I finally gave up and just used my hands to unscrew the old filter and tighten the new one (which is probably better anyways, the oil filter shouldn't be on too tight).
I'll give it three stars for quality, with the caveat that you need to know how to make this thing work. Otherwise, don't spend your money on it.
