This double faced soft mallet is exactly as I expected.
Might not hold up too heavy duty use, but I will not likely be using it for anything heavy duty.
But if you need a soft mallet that is less likely to damage metal surfaces this works great.
One thing I didn't like was the upc sticker on the shaft. It was hard to remove, had to use goo gone to completely remove it, not a big deal.
Overall good item for what I needed it for and at a reasonable price.

I really don't know if there is much I can say about the Tekton Mallet. It performs its job well. Construction is very well, Sturdy! Doesn't feel cheap at all.

This has two faces which are soft and firm... This is a great tool for any household, heavy enough for a firm blow, yet OK for delicate work... the price made it a obvious choice for me...
