Not suited for felling trees. Does not hold an edge on the blade. I have used it to partially fell one yellow pine that was about 18 inches in diameter. Before I was finished I noticed that the head was coming loose from the handle. I strongly recommend not buying this item.

In the Product Description "and" in the Technical Details it "CLEARLY" states that the handle is 27 and 3/4 inches. The handle is only 21 inches. I was going to return it but I gave it to my neighbor's 10 year old so he can help his dad split some wood. I really hate false product descriptions.
