I used tape like this when I worked as a groundskeeper for measuring sports fields wanted one to measure my property was a good price how ever on the first use the pin for the crank fell out I managed to put a cotter pin in its place and it works good with that for the money. Just dont expect a hevy duty one for every day use

This a great value. Perfect for measuring larger landscape jobs when a longer tape is needed to locate trees, shoot topo, etc..

Often tape measures in this class are abused and, consequently, have short service lives. I take good care of my tools and have been quite pleased with this one. I've used it several times to take measurements on undeveloped land. It rewinds easily and doesn't bind. It's an excellent value.
