I am not particular handy with the tools, and my collection of tools was missing this very handy item. Recently to save money I decided to do a couple of do-it-yourself projects at home and bought my first pair of "C" clamps. I just discovered how handy they are to have around. I am only kicking myself for buying these "C" clamps earlier!
The clamps operate smoothly, provide a good grip, and using them is just like having a pair of extra sturdy hands. Despite it being relatively inexpensive I experienced no problems with quality of the clamps.
I already used them in 3 projects. Using the "C" clamp saved me a lot of time as the items were secure and my hands were free. If I did not have these "C" clamps it would have taken a lot more fussing to get the same job done.
The price of this clamp on Amazon over the last year varied from just under $7 to $8.13. I found a handy tool that gives me price history of Amazon items. You can find it if you search for those words. Pick the one with the camel in the name. I find this tool very handy.
I am very pleased with Tekton 4-Inch "c" clamps, and recommend them to others.

I occasionally need some small c-clamps for projects around the house. Quality seemed quite good. Tightened smoothly and easily. Nice because much cheaper than available in local stores. Fully satisfied.

Had some smaller ones that didn't work as well, this is a much better size and is more versatile. No problems, worked great for me.

This is a great heavy clamp. I have no complaints with it at all.
If you need some cheap clamps to hold down your topper, fasten some plywood, or whatever, this will do the job.
Is it as nice as a high end clamp? No. The price makes that fairly obvious, but for a beater clamp, it works great.

It's put together very well, seems very solid. I got it to clamp together a chair to fix -- for the price, it was a cheap and easy solution.
