Michican Industrial 3/8" & 1/4" Torque WrenchesMar 02, 2007
By G. Duranleau
"Man & Machine"
I'm a vintage race car restorer and former professional racer. These Michigan Industrial torque wrenches are robust, and appropriate for the hobbyist and semi-pro mechanic. They calibrate close to their vernier settings when cross-checked against other popular brand torque wrenches. All torque wrenches function within 5% of scale, and these were within that tolerance. Obviously made in China or somewhere in the East, they read in in/lbs and Kgms/m which is the only critizism I would offer. It would be more useful if instead of Kgm/m they would scale in N/m which is more universally found in current shop repair manuals. They have a handy hook on the end to hang on a pegboard or come with a plastic case to keep them from banging-around in the drawer. All considered I'm satisfied with these tools.

Gets the job done, though you can tell its no snap-onFeb 06, 2012
By Doug Its a simple, inexpensive torque wrench, and it does exactly that. I needed one in inch pounds that will be used maybe 2 times a year. For the money, this one fit the bill. It seems pretty accurate now, not sure how long that will last but seems like itll go for a while a low usage. I will admit, it would be nice if it had foot pounds on it as well, but I bought it knowing it didnt. For the money dont expect too much, it is a chinese made tool that simply wont stand up to higher end names, but itll get the job done for you DIYers none the less.

FeedbackMar 04, 2010
By Tom Weaver Delivered in a timely manner and as advertised. Great tool for it's job. Has only inch pounds on the adjustment scale so a little math is required to set the torque when listed in ft lb. But the tool does the job.
Good wrench, bad lower end torqueDec 16, 2011
By Sean P. Kelly I bought this wrench with the intent of using it to torque my carbon fiber racing bicycle. While it does just barely make it to the torque specs I need, it does not go any lower than this so I can't torque my bike to a slightly lower tension than the max allowed.
