Avoid at all costsSep 10, 2011
By V4Bill Like the other reviewer mentioned, the threads are non-standard. I wasted time and money trying multiple options to get a 3/8" fitting to work, NPT or flanged, doesn't matter.
Cheapo steel filter bowl protector is hard to attach and remove. I regret throwing away the packaging or it would send it back in a heartbeat (unused).
I wish I could rate it "zero" stars. One is way too many

UselessSep 04, 2011
By marshak Probably the worst purchase I've made on Amazon. The threads are terrible so it took a while to get it sealed even using brass couplings and Teflon tape. After a few uses the unit started leaking from where the plastic cup seals onto the housing so I'm now looking for a replacement.

By just a tool Plastic bowl, plastic drain. Brass filter element. Paid $20. Too lazy to return. I will see if it holds up.
