5Great little welderMar 22, 2010
By Joseph J. Hoyle "Dudlyville welding"
This is a great little welder for small and medium projects.I am seasoned welding pro and this does the job of some of the high end 220 volt welders.

4Nice welderSep 18, 2011
By Mosin Nagant shooter "Mosin Nagant shooter"
I bought this welder at Horror Fright tools under the Chi-town Electric name. If you want good penetration on thicker material, you should preheat the welding material with a propane torch. If you are worried about spatter, use nozzle gel, or try a different brand wire. I like my little unit, it does the small jobs just fine. This welder allows me to have both a dedicated flux core unit, and a dedicated solid core unit. I have had this unit for a few years, mine does not have a fan in it, like the new ones have.

this welder was pretty cheap i didn't expect much but it works well i have had no major problems and have used it enough to have run through 15 pounds of wire the only draw back is i have to adapt to one of only two settings high or low other than that it works great

I also agree that this welder does jobs that 220v welders do great welder and I can definatly say That for $129 this welder outperforms the $269 welder that you'll find at ****-mart

3My gun is always hotNov 21, 2011
By binkee

I really like this unit. The main problem is that the gun is always hot without squezzing the trigger. When you turn on the power switch, be careful. don't lay the gun down near your work. It will arc like you have never seen before.
