A nice beginners set of pry bars...May 12, 2012
By Michael Bremer I'll admit, I am no Mechanic. However, I do enjoy being a do it yourself'er when it comes to repairing my own automobiles and this set of pry bars has already been useful for what I have needed them for. I have used them to gently pry away my timing cover, water pump, and even headlight housing retention clips, which to me was a royal pain in the arse before I got this set of pry bars.
Unfortunately I do not have anything to compare them to as this is my first set. With the lack of usage these will likely see out of me, I have no doubt that they will also be my last and only set. They seem like they are built quite well for the price. Sure beats trying to pry things with a cheap flat head screw driver all of the time.

VALUE +Apr 22, 2012
By Keaka 61 Purchased to replace missing, damaged, Great Neck set of pry bars. Amazon $$ value, fast shipping. The 2 longer bars do start to flex when prying due to thinner shafts. It does the initial prying and safe practice would dictate switching over to a longer, sturdier pry bar in order to complete the work at hand. I am so far satisfied with this product!
Okay for the priceSep 01, 2011
By bockum The product is okay for general prying, but the steel is too flexible for jobs requiring extreme force. The handles will split down the seams if your are rough with them. For the price, however, it isn't a terrible deal.
