Works greatJul 03, 2011
By John F. Gavina I bought this at Harbor Freight because I needed this 5 minutes ago. For the backyard mechanic this beats a slide hammer any day. It needs not that much room and for removing pilot bearings it does a great job. It won't warp if you tighten down the mount arms with the included allen wrench.
I didn't want to drop my tranny because I didn't want to disconnect my hydraulic slave cylinder. This tool should be in everyone's tool box. 5 stars.
Low Quality - You get what you paid forMay 21, 2011
By LB I bought this to help me pull some bearings (2) out of a Maytag Neptune washing machine. The first bearing completely warped the tool but it came out. The second bearing broke the teeth off the "Forged and Heat Treated Chrome Vanadium Steel Jaws" and never came out. I would recommend a higher quality tool.
