Low Quality - You get what you paid forMay 21, 2011
By LB I bought this to help me pull some bearings (2) out of a Maytag Neptune washing machine. The first bearing completely warped the tool but it came out. The second bearing broke the teeth off the "Forged and Heat Treated Chrome Vanadium Steel Jaws" and never came out. I would recommend a higher quality tool.
Not Great !!!Apr 26, 2012
By Great Meter It worked ok one time. Then after that the arms that grip the bearing bent. Then it would not grip the bearing right and kept bending after i straighten them back. it's not sturdy at all. The arms where not long enough and it kept moving i had a hard time getting it to stay put well i was trying to pull the bearing.
Bearing PullerMar 31, 2012
By SPA This device is what I was looking for but I needed one that could pull smaller bearing sets. Otherwise, I was looking for this tool to add to my tool set. Very useful device when you need it. For new users it can appear to be clumsy but once it gets going it removes bears or similar items that need to be removed off shafts.
Works greatJul 03, 2011
By John F. Gavina I bought this at Harbor Freight because I needed this 5 minutes ago. For the backyard mechanic this beats a slide hammer any day. It needs not that much room and for removing pilot bearings it does a great job. It won't warp if you tighten down the mount arms with the included allen wrench. I didn't want to drop my tranny because I didn't want to disconnect my hydraulic slave cylinder. This tool should be in everyone's tool box. 5 stars.
