One of the things that I like about this socket is the fact that it is the dull finish makes it easy to read, on top of that the price is right as well. The high strength chrome vanadium material offers the strength necessary to withstand the jarring torque of the impact wrench while offering a tapered head to fit onto fasteners in tight spaces. I have gotten this socket wet without even a hint of corrosive surface rust forming. I did spray it with silicone when I received it but think the chrome is what stops the surface rust. I wish I could buy this find this brand in a full set but at this time only have one socket to fill the void left in the set that I did buy. I'll keep looking for the full set and when I find them I know that I will buy them because of the quality mentioned above. Best of all, I think it is made in America.
