I bought this for my husband to work on my car. It is low to the ground and did not work well in tight places. he did use it on our other car and it worked wonderfuly and made his job fast

i used this spring compressor to install coil springs on a 2000 crown vic and it was a breeze. when using this do not install it on the springs the way it is in the picture, the two sets of hooks have to form a cross, i will try to add a picture, i did however have to cut about 2" off the rod because it was too long and was jamming into the spring well when installing the new springs.
