Was using these pliers last night and as I picked them up, I commented to myself about how heavy and well made they are. I also made a personal note that they're forged metal as opposed to cast iron. They're a well made, stout product that's not going break if you put serious hand strength into crimping something as happens with light duty, cast iron products. This is what happened to the last set these were bought to replace as they easily broke when I knowingly cranked down on them. I bought these for the home desktop tool set and they're a treat to have and use. They're a good price and considering the current price of gas, if you have "Amazon Prime," two-day delivery is included. Highly recommended.
