First I ordered what was listed as Tekton linesman pliers. I received a pair made by a company called MIT. That's one issue. The mechanism that makes them flex, two strips of flexible metal between the handles arrived broken. Actually, I don't think they're broken, I think they were made nonfunctional. These strips look like they were stuck inside the rubber grips as an afterthought.
$11 is not a lot but I've seen $5 ones better built. I haven't used them yet so that's all I can review. Not a good beginning...
