4Small Tap & Die setNov 24, 2009
By David T. Dandrea
This set ranges from #4 to 1/2 inch Tap and Dies. It is great for home workshop use where you need to occasionaly tap a hole in plastic or thread blanks for small screws in soft materials or mild steel. It would not be a good choice for production applications.

4Good Dies - cheap accessoriesJun 17, 2010
By Victor D. Kruppa "VicinTucson"
Cheap die set will work for general use. Made in China! The set does not say Pro Grade on the packaging.

5Great product! Solid constructionMar 15, 2010

Pretty much everything you need to in a Die Tool Set for SAE. Perfect except for the case it comes in. It REALLY deserves a 4.5 stars. When you open the box, pieces don't stay in place. Not a very secure case. If you open the box vertically, all your pieces will fall out. Otherwise, it's a quality product.

1Don't Bother...Feb 19, 2012
By Ban-Ban
Not able to be trusted for general use and most certainly not production grade. The larger sizes of taps were completely burred straight out the box, and wouldn't even take them to plastic. Tap handle fell to pieces when I opened the box to inspect...the only good thing I can say is that the thread checker works.

1Dull and uselessNov 11, 2011
By Lunkwill
I tried the 1/4"-20 tap on some mild steel, and it was uselessly dull. Went back to my old one and it sailed through with a fraction of the torque.
