Does What It Is Supposed To DoJun 10, 2011

This is a handy wrench set at a modest price. I needed a wrench to change the blade on my edger so I decided to get this set since the price was so low. Even though I have at least 100 other allen wrenches I did not have one for the size my edger required. None of my other ones have a handle so I find this set to be very convenient. The wrenches are embedded in the plastic handles and I don't see any sort of support such as a metal bushing. My guess is that this set would not stand up to very heavy usage which might break the plastic but for my purposes it fills the bill.

Don't know what I did without themJan 12, 2011

I have had both the SAE and Metric equivalent in my wish list for some time. I finally moved them on two separate orders to get to the $25 free shipping level.
In the first two weeks I have used different SAE sizes around 10 times. It sure beats using allen wrenches linked together with a rivet or bolt.
Much easier to handle and tighten. I just received the Metric set, and I sure could have used them in the past week when I tuned up my Jet 20" planer.

The handles on this wrench set are just what you need for those DIY furniture projects. Your grip will be much stronger, and there are enough sizes to fit almost any project.

Bent wrenchesApr 02, 2012
By Frank I was excited when I got these. They looked nice, plus they came with a holder. Unfortunately, half of them ended up being slightly bent. Meaning that they wobbled when as you're trying to turn them. I ended up returning them because some of them were so bend that I couldn't use them.
Also, the holder is a little difficult to use. They feed through the hole at the top and another hole near the bottom. The first hole is pretty easy to find, but you can't see the second one.
