The entire set is VERY low quality. From the material used to the castings themselves this set is not worth the money.
I bought one for quick use and small work but once I received it I knew that it would not hold up but I gave it a try anyway. Sure enough when I went to clean a 1/4-20 stud the die sized up on it and I had to break it off. Both handles are a joke, they look more suited for a kiddie tool set.
Would in no way recommend this to anyone.

When I opened this box, my first first impression was: what is this, who in the world let such product out their facility...? Every tap and die in the set is defective! Just by visual inspection they all riddle with burrs, also crests unequally spaced and some are even missing. Using micrometer, taps were out of spec by 0.015" - 0.07", I took measurement on 1/2 NF20 die and its diameter at the crest came out to be 0.373 when MIN 0.4392" is allowed on type 1A thread, so that's 0.0662" out of the spec.
Now the rest of the tools... The tap wrench doesn't hold taps, so taps have tendency to skip if you try to turn them and I would call that wrench useless.
The "T" handle tap wrench, has 0.155" diameter of the collet so only 2 taps can fit in it, that's 4-40 UNC and 6-32 UNC, by the way 4-40 UNC tap has major diameter of 0.102", but the internal thread for 4-40 UNC should have 0.112", same goes for the rest of the set as far as tolerances.
The Screw pitch gauge, I think that's the only positive thing that you can find in this set
In the conclusion this tap&die set is not anywhere close to the specs, plus it won't thread even if you try, because groves are plugged at the end with burrs.

Good product. No problems with the tap or dies, but I did have a problem with the wrenches that came with it. The wrenches kept slipping & I couldn't tighten them securely.
