Hollow StemAug 07, 2011
By Philly I thought this mirror was an "OK" buy for me. It's a nice low price. I have been using it for almost two years. I use it to inspect piping welds, so I can see all around the pipe. Just be aware that the stem is hollow, like the antenna on a radio, so if you put it in your back pocket alot (like I do) you can easily crimp the shaft, and your telescoping days are over! I crimped mine very soon after I got it, but it's held up with careful treatment until yesterday when the shaft finally cracked. I'll be spending a little more on my next mirror, to get a solid shaft.
