5Hot Stuff!Jan 12, 2011
By AMAZON MAN
Awsome product. Pull the trigger and you're soldering within 2 seconds. No waiting 5 minutes until full heat is reached like my old one. The only negative I can see about this product compared to my old pencil type soldering iron is the size and weight. If you have very small hands, arthritis, cast on your soldering hand, etc., you may find it a little bit difficult to use this. Otherwise e\xcellent product. Delivery was on time and condition is also excellent.

did the job it was bought for but was sent with 2 'chisel tips' instead of a 'chisel tip' and a 'soldering tip'. in hindsight should have just gone to a store and got one, would've been worth the extra few $

5Woah, excellent price for an excellent gun.Jan 28, 2012

i got lots of good things to say about this. aside from the accuracy of a professional soldering device, this gun has the feature of turning hot and cooling off at the pull of a trigger. When it came in the mail, i was surprised to discover that i had also ordered a starter supply of quality lead solder, a little plastic container full of flux, and a little wrench for screwing on different tips.

It was not hot enough for the job. Pay more for something better. The sharp flated head was difficult for applying heat on the object.

2works great if you can find the soldering tipJul 08, 2011

This thing is slowing down, its my first gun and i am not impressed, like the other review mines came with two chisel tips, it works but its kinda awkward, should have gone with the weller, good luck to those who got replacement tips
